MelcoWorld was launched in late January and since then, we at Melco are pleased at how quickly the community has grown.
Social Media is indeed a new frontier for business to business relationships and thus can lead us all down many roads of how best to use this platform. I am asked by members and staff alike on how best to use MelcoWorld. There are many ways to use MelcoWorld but to ensure you get the most out of this community I have two simple suggestions to get you started.
Join Users Groups
Users groups are created for the purpose of posting topics for discussion. By posting a question or concern you have about products, production or the industry in general, MelcoWorld members and staff will have visibility to your topic and be able to respond. With this collective effort your topics will be discussed quickly. Many times I see individual blog posts about a topic of concern. However, unless other members are visiting the general blog page to see what is new they will not see your blog. This is because your blog only posts on your home page and is only visible there unless it is featured. Featured blogs post on the main MelcoWorld page as well as the homepage from which it was created.
Suggested Blog Topics and Networking
Network with other members and invite their friendship. This is a great way to build a group of like interests withing MelcoWorld. I also suggest using your blog feature on your page as a way to write about information you wish to share. In other words, you may have found a great new product your customers are ordering from you. You can share this experience with other members by writing a blog about it. Here are some blog topics you may want to write about:
Marketing Locally
Websites and Ecommerce
Latest fashions and trends in your market
Pricing models and promotional ideas.
If you have experience in these areas feel free to blog about it. You may be considered as a "
Featured" blogger.
