This industry is sweet! When it comes to embroidery, I love to learn as much as I can from everyone I bump into. It does not matter if they are new to the industry or an old pro. Everyone has something that can be informative. I have the awesome privilege to work with some of the greatest people and a cool company that lets me and others explore the outer envelope of where this industry can go. But I have to be honest and say that my first love is my wife/kids. They are great!

new updates for DesignShop and AOS v9

All,

I wanted to let you know that the latest update to DesignShop and AOS v9 (9.00.099) is available via the update tool within each program.
Several notes to remember:
• This latest version (9.00.099) in both DesignShop and AOS can run on Windows 7 (both 64bit and 32bit). On the AOS side the user needs to follow the instructions in the release notes (they are attached to this blog post and also are on the 10.13.09 DVD) to install correctly.

windows 7 with DesignShop v9 (9.00.098) and AMAYA OS v9 (9.00.099)

Good News from Melco:

Both DesignShop v9 (9.00.098) and AMAYA OS v9 (9.00.099) can function under Windows 7 (both 32bit and 64 bit).
Please read the information in the release notes attached to this blog before installing AMAYA OS v9 (9.00.099)

a question about upgrading to DesignShop V.9

It has been very exciting around Melco lately due to the release of DesignShop V.9

a question that we have heard asked is can DesignShop V.9 and my older version of DesignShop co-exist on the same pc?
The answer to this is yes!
When you load the new DesignShop V.9 it will actually create a new folder and install into this folder. It will also create a new icon(see below).
