Controlling placemet of designs within specified application areas

I added a new product to my site and when I was testing it I found that I was unable to freely place the design anywhere within the specified area, that it always went back to center. I had a full front application area and tried to place a design on the right chest but no matter where I tried to place it, it always returned to center. How do you correct this within the Live Designer Prep?

Through a little more experimenting I found the problem. I had the application area locked and when I took off the lock it allowed the design to be placed anywhere within the application area. So, problem solved.
